Optimizacija operativnih stroškov porabe električne energije v hladilni tehniki s centralnim nadzornim sistemom

It is confirmed that electric energy consumption of cooling systems in large shopping centers represents a significant share, regarding the energy consumption of the entire shopping centers. The objective of this paper is to investigate and optimize the economic saving potential for refrigeration systems by time shifting the operation of numerous cooling elements according to daily electric energy price fluctuations. The paper offers a solution for a substantial decrease of the operating costs by exploiting thermal capacity of the goods and the electric energy price daily fluctuations. The idea isbased on the fact the refrigerated goods may be used as thermal capacitors, which means they are able to store the energy and reactivate it when most appropriate in terms of costs. The optimization algorithm is running on a central power management system which is collecting the parameters from the individual cooling systems in shopping centers. The scheme of such system is provided as well as the optimization algorithm for the proposed power management system is proposed. The simulation results show that such optimization approach would decrease the energy consumption costs around 5,6 %.
