Training level details

l_entryEntry level comprises a short introductory course on basic topics on TCP/IP and Ethernet or operating systems and multimedia environments. Basic knowledge is provided for all attendees who plan to proceed to basic level trainings and do not have basic telecommunications or multimedia backgrounds.


Who should attend?
Attendees who do not have telecommunications or multimedia backgrounds and plan to enter a selected basic level training program.


Training methods
Instructor-led training, demo presentations, hands-on labs.


Prerequisites
No knowledge or skills are required for this level.



l_basic Basic level comprises fundamental knowledge and skills for the selected telecommunications area. Courses are held in small groups of up to 25 attendees in lecture rooms and laboratories featuring latest available R&D equipment and test-beds. Trainings comprise a combination of instructor-led courses and demo presentations.



Who should attend?
Attendees who are active in the field of telecommunications and information technologies, marketing and technical sales, public relations, customer services, design, development and deployment of new contents and applications, network and service designers, network/system administrators  and operators.


Training methods
Instructor-led training, demo presentations, hands-on labs.


Prerequisites
Successfully completed entry level is required.

Attendees must have basic knowledge on telecommunications concepts and systems.

Also, knowledge and skills on specific telecommunications areas are much welcome, e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).


zvezdicaEvaluation
A successfully completed supervised written exam in mandatory to complete the level. Certificate of BASIC level is awarded.



l_advanced Advanced level upgrades basic level knowledge and skills, providing technical and scientific qualifications for the selected area. Courses are held in small groups of up to 15 attendees in lecture rooms and laboratories featuring latest available R&D equipment and test-beds. Trainings comprise a combination of individual hands-on training and instructor-led courses and demo presentations.


Who should attend?
Attendees, who are active in the field of telecommunications and information technologies, work on design, development and deployment of new network services , contents and applications, R&D specialists, network designers, network integrators, network/system administrators  and operators, professional services, consultants.


Training methods
Instructor-led training, demo presentations, hands-on labs.


Prerequisites
Successfully completed entry and basic levels are required. Alternatively, attendees must provide proof of corresponding knowledge and skills.

Attendees must have fundamental knowledge on telecommunications concepts, systems and services, mainstream technologies and protocols, as well as fundamental knowledge on specialized areas of selected programs, available through basic level training.

Also, knowledge and skills on specific telecommunications areas are much welcome, e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security.


zvezdicaEvaluation
A successfully completed supervised written exam is mandatory to complete the level. Certificate of ADVANCED level is awarded.



l_expert Expert level provides the ultimate expertise on the selected areas, giving the attendee knowledge and skills required to perform top-end scientific and educational activities. Courses are held in small groups of up to 10 attendees in laboratories featuring latest available R&D equipment and test-beds.  Trainings comprise instructor-led and individual hands-on training.


Who should attend?
Attendees who are active in specialized fields of telecommunications and information technologies, work on design, development and deployment of new network services,  contents and applications, network and service testing, management, optimizations and upgrades, R&D specialists, network designers, network integrators, network/system administrators  and operators, professional services, consultants.


Training methods
Instructor-led training, demo presentations, hands-on labs. Within selected courses, attendees receive additional hands-on tasks that are to be completed through a remote lab of the LTFE TestCenter as extra work in order to successfully complete the level.


Prerequisites
Successfully completed entry, basic and advanced levels are required. Alternatively, attendees must provide proof of corresponding knowledge and skills.

Attendees must have advanced knowledge and skills on telecommunications concepts, systems and services, mainstream technologies and protocols, as well as advanced knowledge and practical skills on specialized areas of selected programs, available through advanced level training.

Also, knowledge and skills on specific telecommunications areas are much welcome, e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).


zvezdicaEvaluation
Successfully completed supervised written exam, hands-on test and extra hands-on tasks are mandatory to complete the level. Certificate of EXPERT level is awarded.
