The 3rD-LIFE project will develop a new 3-dimensional virtual environment functioning as a tool for social interaction, especially designed for elderly people.

Researchers will use state-of-the-art technologies in computer-based simulated environment technologies, user interfaces, social interaction and networking ICT tools and communication technologies. By integrating them and developing new virtual environments and user interfaces, and at the same time taking into account the specific needs of the target end users from the design until the final testing, the project is looking to obtain an innovative solution (3rD-LIFE product) for social interaction until now not existent in the market.
