Projects - Next Generation Networks
The project adapted an Iskratel’s call server for connection with the intelligent service platform provided by ElephantTalk, a Dutch telecommunication company.
The project designed and delivered an Intelligent Service Access (ISA) solution that is used to move network intelligence from its core into Iskratel’s SI3000 Lumia and MSAN access nodes.
The DIAMETER protocol was implemented for authorization, authentication and accounting within an IMS call server from the Iskratel’s SI3000 product line.
The project includes research, development and implementation activities and is carried out by LTFE and a partner company active in the field of WiMAX technology.
Upon introducing the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) infrastructure into its network, Telekom Slovenije partners up with LTFE to analyze individual IMS infrastructure segments and to set up a model IMS infrastructure within its network.
The RADIUS protocol was implemented for network access authorization, authentication and accounting (AAA) within the Iskratel’s SI2000 system.
NGN stands for evolution of telecommmunication environments and is in fact a unified, IP-based infrastructure that provides more bandwidth, flexibility and open interfaces for voice, data and multimedia services.
